E-Waste Collection August 22

This a great upcoming event for electronic recycling:

Electronics Recycling Event - FREE
Sponsored by First Reformed Church and
West Michigan Creation Care!

In cooperation with local e-waste recycler Comprenew Environmental (a division of Worldwide Christian Schools), First Reformed Church, Herman Miller, and the West Michigan Creation Care team are hosting a free e-waste drop-off event at the First Reformed Church parking lot at 148 East Central Ave in Zeeland on Saturday, August 22 from 9:00am to 1:00pm.

WHY?
Electronic waste is a growing concern to our environment. When put in landfills, e-waste can leak harmful toxins into our soil and water. You can help make a difference!

WHO?
A division of Worldwide Christian Schools, Comprenew Environmental is a Grand Rapids-based nonprofit electronics recycler. Comprenew’s mission is to inspire our community to live and work in a sustainable manner. Together with the First Reformed Church and West Michigan Creation Care, Comprenew is offering you a convenient way to do your part by recycling your electronics on Saturday, August 22.

WHEN?
Please look for the Herman Miller semi-trailer in the parking lot of First Reformed Church on Saturday, August 22 between 9am and 1pm. Any items with a cord or battery will be accepted at no charge (TVs have a requested donation of $10 each). Comprenew will wipe all computer hard drives. Call Comprenew for details on acceptable items: 616.988.8282.
